A Full Circle - Eero Aarnio’s Art Exhibition

Eero Aarnio Originals, The Baer Faxt, and West Bund Art & Design proudly present A Full Circle, the solo exhibition of the iconic Finnish designer Eero Aarnio in Asia.
West Bund Art & Design, established in 2014, is responsible for organizing Shanghai's largest and most prestigious art exhibition, which takes place annually from November 8th to November 10th. This event attracts a diverse array of domestic and international galleries and artists.
As part of the West Bund Art & Design 2024 this special exhibition traces Eero Aarnio’s illustrious career, from his groundbreaking Ball Chair to his latest design, Kisu. 

Celebrating Six Decades of Innovation 


Curated by Luyang Jiang, President of The Baer Faxt, A Full Circle traces Eero Aarnio's design journey from his first drawing at the age of six to his monumental creations at 92. Aarnio’s work embodies a playful, innovative spirit with deep emotional resonance. His most iconic piece, the Ball Chair, which premiered at the 1966 Cologne Furniture Fair, revolutionized modern furniture design with its futuristic and experience-orientated approach.This exhibition extends beyond furniture, showcasing the full breadth of Eero Aarnio's creativity. Visitors will encounter new dimensions of Eero's work, with creations that challenge perceptions, invite interaction, and reflect the whimsical, empathetic touch Eero Aarnio has perfected throughout his career.
